How to solve
e^x is its own derivative; e^(kx) multiplies by the inner slope k each time.
Steps
- d/dx e^(kx) = k·e^(kx).
- Multiply by the outer constant c.
- The exponential itself never changes.
Example
d/dx of 3e^(2x)
- Bring down k = 2.
- 3 · 2 = 6, so 6e^(2x).
Answer: 6e^(2x)
How to type answers
- Write it like 6e^(2x)
